AMAC Delegate Requirements

Delegates are AMAC Action’s liaison to local Congressional offices and other elected officials. Delegates are trained to articulate, act as a resource or the local office on behalf of AMAC and lobby their respective congressional districts to advocate for AMAC Action’s legislative priorities. Their relationship with staffers and members of Congress are crucial in making a difference in the decision-making process.

Delegates may also lead and/or form local chapters where they plan in-person events for members of their community. They engage and network with local conservative and community organizations to educate those groups on key legislation and policy supported by AMAC Action.

Delegates attend their All-State Chapter meeting which is extended to all AMAC members from that state.

Delegate Role

Develop a relationship with elected officials (Federal, State, Local) and to coordinate local Congressional activity in their District by scheduling meetings with them, organizing Meet & Greet Events, Candidate Forums, and other similar events.

Delegates may schedule, plan, and preside over Chapter meetings which may encompass more than one district, that focuses on topics and key legislation supported by AMAC Action.

    • You are encouraged to identify like-minded conservatives and organizations among your centers of influence to invite to meetings; AMAC Action will invite all AMAC members in your area.

    • You will manage the RSVPs and should maintain a roster of attendees. Delegates MAY NOT share any member(s) contact information outside of AMAC Action. Members may opt-out if there are privacy concerns

    • Invite local elected officials to your meetings such as members of your City Council, Mayor, local department heads, School Board, or local experts to speak about legislation or issues that are important to AMAC members.

You'll need to know your Federal Congressional District to complete the form.
