EPIC.LAN Crew Application

EPIC.LAN is a community LAN party run by a dedicated crew who just love gaming and esports.

We all give our time and their effort to make sure our events are as “epic” as they can be every single time. People get great experience out of it, learning key esports, gaming and event management skills. 

Everyone has their own reasons for volunteering whether that's to gain early experience in a new field, to make friends or simply because they enjoy it as a break from their normal lives. It's important to consider what you want to get out of it before applying and make sure it is right for you. 

The event timetable is roughly

- Tuesday - Load In

- Wednesday - Setup

- Thursday AM - Setup

- Thursday 16:00 - Event Opens

- Sunday 16:00 - Event Closes

- Sunday Evening - Pack Down. 

Note that you do not necessarily need to be at the event for all of these days around your availability. The event remains open to the public from 16:00 Thursday to 16:00 Sunday, so there are some long hours, sometimes during the night depending on the chosen team. Plenty of break time will be scheduled throughout the event, don't worry, you're not expected to be awake for 72 hours (no really, don't even try to do this). 

Note that applications may take up to two weeks to be processed, but we will always try to get in touch earlier.
