Content Creator Job Description
Lidavi Social is looking for a Content Creator who will create SCROLL-STOPPING social media content - photo, video, + graphics for Lidavi agency clients. This role works collaboratively with other team members within the Social Media Team, including Content Creators and the Social Media Managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for all forms of creative and social media, as well as be excited to work within a remote, fast-paced team environment with team members and clients in multiple time zones.
If applying for this role, you must have experience and knowledge of video, photo, and graphics creation for social media, such as planning, copywriting, and editing. The ideal candidate should be up-to-date with the latest social media platforms, trends, applications, and content creation tools. You should have the ability to learn new social media content formats to keep the creative relevant and forward-thinking. You should have excellent communication skills, extremely high attention to detail, as well as ongoing determination to meet and overcome challenges. You should be ready to take initiative, keep projects organized, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with coworkers and clients.

Responsibilities
Developing and producing monthly graphic and video content for all clients based on current needs.
Working closely with the Creative Director, Head of Social Media, and/or Social Media Manager to devise ongoing content strategies that align with client goals.
Working with the Social Media Manager to create a marketing calendar based on client needs
Writing copy for client social captions and researching appropriate hashtags
Keeping up to date with industry best practices and monitoring content activities of competitors.
Repurposing content for different mediums including other social media platforms and from video to graphics.
Creation of entertaining and informative video content, Instagram stories, and animations
Engage authentically with client communities on all social channels via liking, commenting, replying, and curating content.
This role is not client-facing.
Required Skills and Abilities
A love for graphic design and well-versed in content creation tools like Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite, or another similar tool
Computer Skills – Must be proficient in using common programs such as Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets, ClickUp (or similar project management tool), and Slack
Content Creation Skills – Advanced Level with graphic design software tools such as Canva; ability to create appealing visual elements. Video editing skills on video editing software like InShot or CapCut.
Writing Skills - Advanced knowledge of grammar and writing in English. Consistently create clear and compelling copy free of spelling, grammatical, and formatting errors.
Attention to Detail - Must be detail-oriented; able to follow processes and routines. Execute social media publishing strategies ensuring that all posts are accurate, punctual, safe, and on-brand.
Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Time Management – The ability to effectively manage one's own time
Social Perceptiveness - Awareness of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do
Problem Sensitivity - The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem
Troubleshooting - Determine causes of operating errors and decide what to do
Prioritization – Must be able to adjust to changing priorities and complete multiple projects despite interruptions
Comprehension and Expression - The ability to comprehend and communicate information and ideas so others will understand

Time Commitment
The part-time, contractor position starts at 10-15 hours per week, but will quickly increase to 25-30 after the training and onboarding period. ✨
