Job Description: Workforce and Scheduling Specialist
Position Summary:
Responsible for ensuring that new hires are effectively onboarded and properly credentialed to meet the company's compliance, training, and operational standards. This role involves managing the end-to-end process of employee credential verification and ensuring all team members are prepared and qualified to handle customer interactions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding Process:
Ensure all required new hire documentation (e.g., workstation details, identification, etc.) is collected, processed, and stored in accordance with company policy.
Facilitate training schedules and allocate resources for new employees by collaborating with the training department to ensure completion of required modules.
Track and maintain employee progress through onboarding milestones, providing support to address any issues that arise.
Provide ongoing guidance to new hires as they navigate the onboarding process.
Credentialing Process:
Verify the qualifications, certifications, and background checks of new employees to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
Track and monitor the expiration dates of credentials and certifications, ensuring timely renewals.
Address and resolve any credentialing discrepancies or issues promptly.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all onboarding and credentialing activities.
Employee Support:
Serve as the main point of contact for new employees, providing support during their initial integration period.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with Salesforce and Community/NICE scheduling software is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred).
Previous experience in WFM, recruitment, onboarding, or credentialing within a call center or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of employee onboarding and credentialing best practices.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR software or applicant tracking systems.
Working Conditions:
Office or remote-based environment, depending on company policy.
Regular working hours with occasional flexibility for urgent credentialing or onboarding tasks.
